Job duties:
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations; Managing the Accounting System Server hosting, workstation connection with data storage, troubleshooting, configuration, and technical support; Configuring, deploying, and supporting network infrastructures, including WAN and LAN connectivity, wireless network, routers and switches (i.e., network architecture design, Internet Service Provider (ISP), TCP/IP, IPv4, DHCP, DNS, and Firewall, switch, and wireless access point configuration); Planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures to protect; data, software, and hardware (i.e., firewall configuration, monitoring for network activities, and anti-virus software; Monitoring the network to ensure network availability to all system users, performing necessary maintenance to support network availability, and understanding TCP quality of service and congestion control; Performing disaster recovery operations such as planning, applying, maintaining, regularly checking Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and performing data storage backup schedule; Providing technical support to the corporation’s servers, network, and desktops (e.g., Accounting System Server, Scheduling System, Windows File Server, Secure FTP Server, Data Storage Backup, and Windows and Mac operating system workstations); Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems in Main office and Lab and answer queries in support of users throughout the organization, and communicating effectively with vendors for solutions or quotations if needed; Recommend changes to improve system and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes, including constructing technical proposal, cloud server hosting/deployment, voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) Phone system, IP phone, domain controller.
